Why is the Internet not working?

For many people, the Internet has become an integral part of life. In the world wide web, we communicate, find necessary information, exchange it with others, make purchases, and much more. It's impossible to imagine a modern person who has never used the Internet, and who has never faced the absence of an Internet connection.

Possible reasons why the Internet may not work:

1) Forgot to pay for services.

In this case, you need to top up your account or activate the "Work on credit" service, and the connection will be restored.

2) The Wi-Fi router or other equipment used for internet access is "hung up."

Any equipment can stop working for various reasons. One reason is that it is connected to the power grid, where power surges may occur. Your equipment may overheat and malfunction. To restore it to normal operation, you need to unplug the device from the outlet, wait a few minutes, and then plug it back in. The equipment will restart, and there is a high probability that it will work normally again.

3) Incorrect settings on the router.

In our network, the modern DHCP method is used for authorization.

But if you replace the router with another one, you may need to press the "Register new equipment" button in your personal account.

Also, don't forget to set a password for Wi-Fi and choose reliable encryption: wpa2 or wpa3 (this type of encryption will be available on routers a bit later).

4) Incorrect settings on the computer/laptop.

To understand that the problem is with a specific device, not the internet or the router, it's enough to check the internet on another device. If everything works well on it, then you need to deal with the device that has no connection.

It could be due to viruses or, conversely, due to antivirus with incorrect settings (especially if it has an internet traffic filtering function). To check, you can temporarily disable the antivirus.

5) Problem with the Internet provider.

Any provider can experience a technical failure at some point. In this case, you need to call us for more information.
